Why install solar? Solar is able to reduce your electricity bill as you are able to generate your own electricity, therfore saving you money.

What is the feed in tarriff? Currently in NSW the feed in tarriff is low, electricity providers are offering around 6-8 cents.

What is net metering? Under net metering arrangements, the electricity you generate is used to supply your own energy requirements and any excess generation that is not used by your household is exported to the grid.

How much will solar cost? Depending on your particialr circumstances we will be able to design a system that works best for you and one that will be the most cost effective. We are also able to help you obtain solar finance.

Who does the installation? Unlike other solar companies Ygrene Energy's own team will install the system for you, we do not contract out to solar installers, the owner of Ygrene Energy Tim will be onsite and there to answer any questions you have.

What happens in winter and cloudy days? Solar panels produce energy when exposed to sunlight rather than heat, so no electricity will be generated during the night. During cloudy periods the energy generated will be affected.
